Tuesday 15 May 2012: Burr Elm
This is the piece I bought at the Weird and Wonderful Wood Festival on Sunday. It's of no real practical use (it could be a paperweight I suppose), just a beautiful piece of burr elm, shaped and polished. It's about 5 inches across and very tactile.
Nothing terribly exciting about today. Spent most of it getting nowhere fast with planning. Quite frustrating so a beautiful object like this soothes my soul.
