Tuesday 15 May 2012: Reclaimed oak

Here is a detail from a row of wooden pegs which have been made from reclaimed oak. I bought this at the Royal Highland Show last year and have put it up in our bathroom. It was made by Goeff Fisher of Country Oak Tree in Auchtertool, Fife.

I really like the idea of reclaiming material like wood and stone. It seems a very sound ecological way to make new things.
