Wednesday 16 May 2012: Letters are better than food and drink
Yes, letters are food and drink
when you're on your way out.
And photos of grand-daughter's children
are best of all.
They bring out a grin,
the first for days,
before sleep, blessed sleep,
resumes.
How my niece's letter and pics of great-grandchildren perked up my mother this morning!
Still managing to keep her in her own home, and hope to continue to do so, with the help of Mr PP, my sister (when she can get down here), carers, doctor and wonderful district nurses.
