Wednesday 16 May 2012: Stairway
Today was the annual track and field day for the students at Sajik Stadium. It's always a great event, like any sports day signifying that summer is well and truly here. Mr Ward (aka Krakamang) and I were assigned to the soft ball throw - as ever plenty of fun to be had.
For 3 years now I've been involved with this day and always admired this staircase inside the main stand by the toilets. Every year I've failed to capture its grand but silent presence which captures a slither of light as the day turns. Tucked away and probably not noticed by many it (to me) is an architectural gem.
