Wednesday 16 May 2012: The Potter

This is our lovely neighbour Bernadette. As she is at home convalescing for some time I asked her if she would like to come round to do something creative and have a go at making a vase in my studio - she jumped at it!
Here she is arranging some plant cuttings from her garden which she then rolled into the clay and assembled into a lovely tall vase. It was great to see her so enjoying the whole process of making something which included her favourite plants and just embracing learning and making something new.
I had a great time too passing on skills to her and really enjoying her company.
