Wednesday 16 May 2012: Sparkly bits...

810/365: ... everyone needs a bit of sparkle to start the day, right? Well, it definitely helps, that's for sure. Especially when the morning start is one of those 'pretty please why can't I have a lie in' mornings. Dragging yourself out of bed at 5:30 every morning is hard work... but at least when the morning is all bright, fresh and delicious, the colours are crisp and vibrant... well... it's not quite so difficult. Better than those awfully dark Winter mornings at any rate!

Today has been head squishingly busy. 7 meetings one after the other... straight through from 9am until gone 4pm. My day goes:

5:30am - get up, shower, make lunch
6:00am - have brekkie
6:30am - leave the house
7:45am - work... work... work... work...
4pm - ... work... work...
4:30pm - and leave for the day... eat soggy sandwich in car on way home.

By the time it gets to 4:30, it's been 10 and a half hours since breakfast and the desk is starting to look like an oversized sandwich. Tomorrow is pretty much the same except for the fact that I get to look forward to working from home the day after! :o)

When I got home, Felix had a present for me. A little match-holder style wallet thing with little seeds that you just pop straight in the ground. Will plant 'em tomorrow! How exciting! Maddy had also got me some... but had managed to drop them in the sink, so we'll see how those ones go too! Have done my evening tour of the garden. Squealed at the radishes appearing. Yay-ed the lettuces. Said hello to the tomato plants. And generally skipped around like a mad Felicity Kendall circa The Good Life. :o)

PS When I say 'skipped'... I mean shuffled like a tired person
PPS In my head I was skipping though!
