The "New" Burj Khalifa...

In one of my earlier blips, I mentioned the original Burj Khalifa. This is the new Burj Khalifa and also the tallest building in the World! Originally called Burj Dubai, it got renamed on its opening night. People often ask why Dubai always has to have the biggest and the best and often it does seem OTT, but this building is truly impressive to look at and beautifully designed; and one cant help examining it intently to take it all in.

Was back to Carluccio's by the Dubai Fountain again today; this time with ex-workmates. Took this picture whilst walking to the restaurant; stopping for the briefest moment to press the shutter. Didn't think ex-boss Diane would appreciate too long-a-wait whilst I got my blip for the day! Over and done with... you MAY see this building again in the future.
