That time of year

For dandelions.
I know they are weeds, but as they say, a weed is just a plant in the wrong place. And who's to say a plant forcing its way out from in between the concrete is in the wrong place anyway? While the 'wrong' plant in a flower bed is arguably taking nutrients from the plants that are 'supposed' to be there, if it is brightening up inert hard surfaces there's a bit of me that admires the plant's resilience, the same thing I feel when I see a grubby pigeon on the busiest city street.
And there is such beauty in every dandelion seed head
