Hogmanay

My last Blip of the year. I thought I'd get it out of the way early.

Visiting friends for coffee & cake in the afternoon.

Visiting other friends in the evening for food, alkiehol & fireworks. It will be an early finish (I hope) as we have to be at the airport about 10 tomorrow for the flight to Amsterdam.

Both the Teens have tonsilitis this morning. But you know what? The silence is heavenly. Every cloud has a silver lining.  

The Blip is the view from the front door, with my 2 x 1 metre piles of shovelled snow. There's another bigger pile behind me. 

No snow in Amsterdam... Blipping may be intermittent for a few days with a catch up effort after I get back to Scotland on Monday.
