Thursday 17 May 2012: Soccer anyone!?
This wee lad was sat in the road trying to sell scarves which you can see to his left hand side.
He was more interested in playing football with us rather than sell us a scarf though. He was a nice kid but where we were you don't kinda hang around to enjoy yourself as its quite susceptible to suicide bombings as we were in HQ ISAF.
Even though its show on the map here where i was, its common knowledge to insurgency that this is where HQ ISAF plus all the other 'agencies' are so there are no compromises to Official Secrets Act being carried out etc before someone harps on about it. I know the score on that ta very much!

Anyway, this time next week i will be in Dubai enjoying a cold Guinness before heading home yayyyy!!!
