Clyde Clock by George Wyllie

After the sad passing of George Wyllie yesterday I wanted to do a Blip of one of my favourite pieces of his work. The Clyde Clock or Running Clock is beside the Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow. I pass this daily and still smile thinking of photographing George beside it. It was such a great observation of people running aware of the time for their busses.
He was so enthusiastic about it as he was about all of his work.
I did also think about the giant safety pin (used for nappies) on the site of the old Rottenrow Maternity Hospital.
Perhaps one of my other Blipper pals can do it instead.
