I have never seen the mountains of North Africa so close as the sun set on 2014 here in Andalucia.  It is not the highest quality photograph I have posted this year - the iPhone is not best geared to capture clarity in poor light - but I thought it was worth a shot.

And PS, I did manage to finish my rough draft today.  It will require some serious polishing, though, on the first day of 2015.
