Fireworks on the beach

went to Canet this evening to see in the New Year with fireworks on the beach.   After supper we still had some time to go and were being blown around like mad so retreated to the car aiming to get out before the fireworks which we were expecting to start at midnight. What we didn't realise was that they end at midnight here rather than start then as in the UK. Managed to just get out in time to photograph them , leaving the tripod in the boot and using a wall instead.
