Wednesday 16 May 2012: Route 66
Plenty of history regarding Route 66 but I've been so busy that I didn't have the time to look it up and prepare a write up for it...sorry. This image was taken in Rancho Cucamonga close to where I work.
I'm doing this blip for yesterday since I came in late last night. Had dinner with a good friend (Mel) and had a wonderful time.....so nice to relax, be yourself and laugh. We headed to the mall to walk around and try on hats. Great time indeed :)
As I'm typing this I just got very sad news that Donna Summer passed away today 5/17/12. Major icon for me and for the 70's and 80's. A small tribute and one of my all time favorite song of hers.
