Thursday 17 May 2012: Invasion
Today is Norway's national day and it is usally difficult not to spot a Norway Flag in the Isles on 17th May. Today it was impossible. There was an invasion of Norwegians today (some wish it could be permanent) for the opening of the new Scalloway Museum which was opened by the Norwegian Prime Minister.
As a result we had the sight of Norwegian national dress as well as flags in Lerwick as well. This kind lady was more than happy to let me blip her.
