my new play hut

My great nephew has a new treehouse. His dad and grandad have been building it this week and it is very impressive - the perfect place to sit and eat an ice block while watching the world go by.

Another hot day - 32C at 10am as we drove through Waikari, and 31C when we arrived in Christchurch. It was 34 again in Hanmer and I think that is going to continue through the week so our wee house will be hot when we get back there tomorrow.
