Friday 18 May 2012: Herbal Remedy

I love to cook and with fresh herbs. So naturally, when I planned my garden, I began by planting rosemary, basil, chives, marjoram, oregano, thyme, sage, and mint. Every day, when preparing a dish, you'll find me in the garden snipping the needed herbs. It's a ritual - a satisfying step in cooking a meal flavored by ingredients that I nurtured. And many times, the fresh herbs have saved a mediocre dish, elevating it to something divine.
