Sunset over Skye

We left Edinburgh mid-morning and changed to the train for Mallaig in Glasgow. The journey lasts over five hours, with the train stopping at a score of little stations. The views are breathtaking. After we arrived in Mallaig, found the guest house and had something to eat we stretched our legs a little by walking up a brae where we were rewarded by a sunset over the Sound of Sleat. The land beyond the water is Skye and the jaggy mountains in the distance (which seem to have their very own cloud formation) are the Cuillins.
