Unexpected Sun

This morning was soooooo wet, dreary, dank and plain horrible. I sat in front of the computer all morning listening to the rain clattering against the window.

Then, really quite suddenly the whole world was transformed. Bright beautiful sunlight and my spirits lifted. I left the office and went for a quick stretch of the legs down to the castle.

This view is of the Maidens Tower from Stable Hill. Can you see, just left of the Tower at moat edge a small bridge? That leads to King Edward's bath house.

I always feel so much better when the sun shines
