Friday 18 May 2012: Blue res.

Off to Leroy Merlins this morning to see the lovely Yolanda, who does speak Catalan, in order to return some bits of kitchen that were delivered in error, and to collect the bits that we should have had in the first place... and get another couple of things we didn't know we needed. We actually ended up with someone else who didn't speak Catalan which lead to much head scratching for all three of us. We think we've ordered the right things, but we won't know for another three weeks. Doh!

On the way back we wandered off the main road and went to have a look at Els Guiamets, a very pretty turquoise reservoir, with the aim of killing time until the fusteria opened at 4pm so that we could buy a length of wood... I'd forgotten all about the crazy opening hours of places over here.
