Horrible wet, grey day. Went over to Edinburgh to see the Munch exhibition at the gallery previously known as the National Gallery of Modern Art. The Munch prints were nothing to write home about but we went for lunch to the gallery cafe which was good. When we got home there was a letter from Edinburgh Council telling K he was being fined £30 for moving over into the bus lane on Calder Road on 9 May. He had been turning left at the roundabout and apparently moved over a few yards too early. However, there is no clear indication as to when exactly it is permissible to move over! Have heard of people getting three or more fines in the same day for the same offence, if you don't pay within 14 days, it goes up to £60!! Talk about daylight robbery!
