Second national park and probably bigger that , Biogradska Gora is Durmitor. (on the northeast part of Montenegro, close to the borders with Bosnia). A really big choice of trails, from the very easy to the more demanding. Here we were really fortunate that we had good weather throughout. It got really cold one night, when the wind shifted and the temperature dropped to 7C, but during the day we had again sunshine. We stayed in the rather touristy town of Zabljak which had about three campsites we could chose from. Here we also met the most aggressive campsite owner I?ve ever seen. Twice he would flag us and stop us on the road to explain how his campsite were so much better and ours was not. Still I had no problems with where we stayed. Being a bit lazy we rented what was called a ?fox hut?, a little dwelling made of wood with space just enough for two beds. Kept us warm and comfy!
