Friday 18 May 2012: £6million....
While facebook was being floated on the NASDAQ for $100BN I was looking what £6Million buys a brickworks for a kiln modification. The answer is not a lot, but at least we make things, and sell them?
It seems very unfair that a company that provide, basically nothing except a platform, is worth so much and yet a brickworks that builds homes is subject to market forces and dies after a hundred years.
But that is Neanderthal thinking, or am I?
My interview went as expected, polite and contrite but flawed.
