Hating The Morning Rain

This was before the sunrise.  I had to use the flash as I shot through the open door.  Zippy was showing his disdain for the early morning rain by giving it a big "hummingbird raspberry." 

Either that or he was hoping a drop of nectar would suddenly drop off the roof onto his tongue.  Wishful thinking, I suppose.  I thought I'd be a good mama and put the spare feeder on the table so he wouldn't have to go out into the rain unless he felt the urge.

The sun came out after sunrise.  It's going to be a luscious day.
