Friday 18 May 2012: Off and Running
Middle School track meet, moments after my granddaughter got the baton and started the second leg of the 400 Relay. I always hold my breath when they transfer that stick; it seems impossible to pass it smoothly, and yet they do. It was the final meet of the season and she earned a first place medal for hurdles.
