Mono Monday: Distant

These two photographs are the only ones I have of my grandmother Eunice Bockbrader Lautzenheiser. She was from strong German roots, and married a man of similar heritage. She unfortunately died after the birth of her second child (my mother was her firstborn.) I've always been curious about what she would have been like if I had known her. Other family members say that there is a resemblance between me and the photograph of her on the left. My mother definitely looked like her, but more like the photo on the right. This is for Mono Monday: distant, as most of the memories of her are either distant, or have passed along with those who remembered her.
