Why did I come in here?

Our neighbours wonderful little girl is in for a surprise in the morning. Hidden away in our garage is this bug. Looks like a normal bug with a few shiny bits added. Never judge a book etc. There's a stereo system in here that would blow your ears if you were daft enough to wind it up. Under the hood is a powerful noise creator, Bluetooth central locking you name it, it's been fitted. 1600 engine with twin Webber carbs, so it's noisy, goes like Tina Turner on speed and has all the ingredients for being a fun machine. I am very jealous, but I always am. :-))

The boy was taken for a quiet wander this morning. On the way down to the valley in the car I pointed out a leveret dashing backwards and forwards in the road. Mrs Booty was very taken by the tiny thing, being realistic I said, "It'll be dead before long."

5 minutes later we were wandering through trees alongside a stream when we heard the "Krreee Krrree' of a buzzard coming from where we had spotted the leveret, it was answered by his mate and they flew to their nest. Under the buzzard was the unmistakable shape of a young bunny.

They'll be teaching their young to fly and hunt soon. The sights and sounds are spectacular, they are very patient and communicate with each other all the time. It's possible to sit on a small hill nearby and look down on them wheeling and diving. Much better than TV.
