Friday 18 May 2012: Quadriga

S & I headed in to London to visit the Quadriga Gallery at Wellington Arch, which is a lovely space. They are currently showing an exhibition about Stonehenge, but it's worth the admission for the views of London from the top of the Arch.

We also visited Apsley House, home to the 1st Duke of Wellington.

After that we walked along the Mall to the National Gallery to see the Turner Inspired exhibition, which is wonderful. "Keelmen Hauling in Coals by Night" is just stunning.

Another lovely day out in the smoke - sore feet up & a bottle of wine on hand now :)
