We call them.....

.....Chocolate Bombs - difficult to eat outdoors in hot temperatures, but this little lady seems to have the technique sorted nicely.

My good friend and I set off for Christchurch at 9 am, she had to collect some photographic lighting equipment  just after lunch.

The obligatory coffee stop at Ashburton then onto Riccarton Mall for a browse, its the first time I've been in there since the earthquakes.....looks really splendid.

Neither of us had been to The Tannery out in the suburb of Woolston - what a super grand place that is - called Boutique Shopping area and it is just that, prices rather high but none the less such a wonderful credit to the chap that converted these old warehouses into such an enjoyable experience.

Then off the the Buskers Festival at Hagley Park - well, the place was seething with people, obviously the place to be with much to photograph and entertainment to enjoy.....talking of enjoying, this young lady sure was enjoying her ice-cream.

We stopped again at Ashburton on the homeward journey for dinner, (sitting outside). The temperatures didn't reach the great heights of yesterday, mid to late 20's which was comfortable.

A great day full of lovely surprises.  I'll endeavour to sort out some images and zap onto Flickr but much too late to even think of that now.

Its time for bed
