Saturday 19 May 2012: New house
Early morning run today 7.2Km before 9am!
Today we went to the new house to clean and measure stuff. So I was hustled out of the house at a fairly unseasonable hour (I think he was just a little bit excited!) We took the hoover and many, many cleaning products! When we got there we found that actually everything was very clean. We had a good poke around at everything and were relieved to find everything as we remembered it. Ali and Bob spent ages playing in their new rooms, Surprisingly Bob has opted for the smaller bedroom. Unfortunately we also found some traces of woodworm in the eaves storage area but hopefully its not a major issue and we'll treat it. As you can see Ali thought the house was a bit interesting!
After we had exhausted looking round an empty house we headed home to do some serious packing. Bob and Ali went to Andy and Beth's for the afternoon and James and Amanda dropped in which was nice. Then about 5pm Bob, Ali, Samuel and Thomas came over. We're looking after Samuel and Thomas tonight so Andy and Beth can go to see Jools Holland.
So it was pizza for tea, followed by ice cream, then popcorn while watching a DVD.
Blipping maybe a bit sporadic over the next few days as the computer has now been packed.....
