Women's Gathering at Ruth's .....

Just got home from a wonderful evening.....a large gang of interesting and amazing women!!!! I'm totally loving getting to know such a spectacular group of women, and it just keeps getting better. There were about 15-20 of us getting together for no other reason than Ruth wanted a women's gathering! oh plus a cloths exchange!!! Not knowing many of these women i decided not to bring stuff from my closet...it just felt a bit weird....i only know a couple of them and so i decided not to take anything with me! other than food and beer of course!!!

But then the fun started, everyone trying on pieces of clothing...passing them onto someone else....eying a piece someone else was looking at, it was a lot of fun. I was encouraged to try on some things and came away with this absolutely stunning top and trousers outfit....that one of the women bought when she was in Paris....France!!! it is stunning! so now i have a new, very chic, outfit for the daughter's grad!!!

The ages ranged from over 70 to 50's to 30s and of course lovely little Noah....at 4 months!!!

I've never felt so welcomed into a community as i do here....and the breadth of experiences and passions is just so amazing!
