Harbour Lights

The day (or the best of it) is almost over and the sun is low in the sky. Just come indoors from raking leaves then mowing some of our lawns, Doug is now doing likewise on another part of our garden. There are still a heap of leaves to fall, so this will be repeated over the coming weeks.

Jack Frost was all over this morning, an excuse to get up late (lovely) followed by going out for breakie at 10 am, (lovely again).....sitting overlooking the bay with the sun warming us.....just a wee celebration after selling our property! )
Oh, and I kinda placed two wee Marmite sachets into my handbag!! Oops, naughty.....but I can't live without it, and July seems sooooo far away... (That bit is just for NZ blippers :)

This I took on our way home, a wee detour down to the harbour.....not a breath of wind and liked the reflections and the shimmering water from the low winter sun.

We have been up on the building site, taking levels with the surveying equipment, (a learning experience for me).....the machinery are coming in tomorrow to start the earth works.

The wonderful thing about our sale is that we are able to rent our place back for 6 months while our house is being built....how lucky is that, we are very fortunate.
