Misty cold grey day.
Early start for trip to play in ladies' golf competition at Auchterarder, Perthshire which is right next door to Gleneagles Hotel, the venue for the next Ryder Cup between USA and European golfers. Very busy with 140 entries. Extremely boggy underfoot and woolly lumpy greens. But managed to break 90 gross; the scores generally were not very good. The scenery is beautiful and we had good company. Home late but in time to watch the last episode of the Bridge.
The crest of Auchterarder Club is this rather camp/surprised looking eagle.
