Sunday 20 May 2012: Champions League Final 2012

Saturday's daytime explorations around Busan were just a way to kill time before the excitement of the night ahead. 11pm West Ham vs Blackpool in the Championship Playoff final, and then at 4am the Champions League Final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

I met the crew at the Wolfhound just before eleven. West Ham were promoted and despite not being a Hammers fan it'll be good to see them back in the Premiership next season.

After the Wolfhound closed we moved to Beached to watch the Bayern vs Chelsea match. Although very hospitable by 5am we decided we couldn't keep the owner up any longer and moved to my place to watch the remainder.

I think only Nigel and I saw its entirety with James, MJ, Charlie and his Korean mate all finding the floor or couch comfortable enough to sleep on. Eyes were fully open for the penalty shoot out - terrible result for Bayern. Everyone (except the Korean fella who decided he liked the couch and view) left promptly at its result.
