Greater Anglia platforms 1 and 2 Norwich Station

The Dutch national rail company Nederlandse Spoorwegen subsidiary Abellio, won the franchise for Greater Anglia in February 2012.

The franchise lasts for only 29 months, after which it is expected there will be a longer period on offer.

Here we see the just arrived 1727 from Liverpool Street, and the just about to depart 1730 for Liverpool Street. The blue livery sits pleasingly with the blue paint of the splendid - at least in my eyes - Norwich Thorpe Station of the former Great Eastern Railway.
