So this was technically taken using a microscope, but it has glass lenses so I think it counts. [It was a Leica MZ-FL in case anyone was interested!]

This is what my glowing GFP plants actually look like. Well sort of...

If you looked at them normally, in daylight, they would look like healthy green plants. In order to see the GFP you need to use lasers.

I'm using a blue laser here. It hits the GFP which then emits the green light you see. The rest of the plant looks red for the same sort of reason plants look green in daylight.
