Sunday 20 May 2012: On the beach
Two nurofen tablets and a pot of coffee for breakfast and then off to the beach with Eve to discover crab claws, starfish and watch the horses galloping along the sand.
It was a beautiful morning but there were people dressed in full winter gear who didn't quite believe the sun would stay out. Eve was having none of that though and was later reclining on a hammock in the playpark licking her ice cream with a contented grin on her face.
Home to the smell of dinner wafting through the house then a short, sharp burst of homework and out on bikes to cycle to the park.
