Sunday 20 May 2012: Best Friends...
...that are blipkids too! Here's Anya, Bradybird's daughter, with my daughter Anna. It's sort of a mirror image thing - Anya's the tall one with glasses, like her mum, whilst Anna is shorter - much like her mother :-/
They're in the same class at school, and are great friends - have been since Preschool, actually.
We joined several other families for a huge picnic in Kingsbury Water Park for a friend's 40th. The weather was chilly, but dry. Our neighbours came in their VW Camper, which meant a much needed hot cup of tea could be made! I think I impressed Lucie with my super-duper hula hooping skills - never mind failing spectacularly at a skipping game thing :(
Matt enjoyed it too - running around like a loon with his friend Nathan and their whippet, Tess. He wasn't quite as happy when he had to do his slave trade essay for his history homework when we got back.
Paul's packing now for another work trip - Brighton this time. The Sunday night blues are kicking in...
