Darling, the ceiling needed painting, but...

The ceiling of the Watts Chapel at Compton in Surrey - designed by Mary Watts in memory of her husband, the painter George Frederick Watts. The whole of the chapel, walls, ceiling and windows reflect a combintation of Art Nouveau, Celtic, Romanesque and Egyptian influences. No tripod, and only a small on camera flash, so it had to be a deep breath, lean against something, and accept what shake there was for a 2.5 sec exposure at f4. I'm knocked out by the camera - ISO 1600, and quite acceptable noise on this material.
