Good grooming...

I was called on by one of my oldest friends today to 'groom' for her and her horse.

Horses aren't really my specialism, but she knows I'm there for her when she can't get anyone else!

I suspect my modus operandi is a little different from most grooms'. I am good at holding the horse's tow rope (trying not to squeak if it gets too close), I can get stuff out the Land Rover or trailer, and I'm definitely good at going for snacks and coffee. No brushing, no sponging down or warming up.

She got a lilac rosette for her troubles, and I suspect was most happy as it matched her top. And the sun shone all day!
