Sunday 20 May 2012: First ever rugby tournament
Cameron blip 2 days in a row but I couldn't not blip him after his first ever rugby tournament. The club he's been training with (only 2 sessions so far) don't have many U7s and he was the only one that could go today so he was loaned out to another team who needed one more player. They did really well getting 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss and finished 2nd in their group. It was very entertaining to watch and all the coaches of such young children need a medal, they've got the patience of a saint!
Then we went to the Broncos game in Gillingham (the tournament was there too) where they infuriated us again by being solid in defence and only letting in 2 tries but unfortunately only scored 2 and Hull got a penalty too so we lost by 2 points. I think this will be the last (of many) straw for the manager.
Cameron slept all the way home and was like a zombie until bedtime because he stayed up to watch the Chmapions League final. We said he could before thinking about the fact that it could go to extra time and penalties!
