taking the long way home..

..and the first steps on the Cairns flight are a trudge across the tarmac to the plane.

Junior has done this flight (and the return) about a dozen times in his eight years and quite the confident little traveller now.
He whisks off through security with boarding pass and Frequent Flyer card in hand leaving his granny bringing up the rear!

Now he is 'of an age' to travel by himself, he'll be doing this on his own soon.
