Sunday 20 May 2012: Lucky seagulls
When I was driving home for dinner, after a nice day with a few errands to take care of and a swim/sun-session at the swimming pool, I noticed a big flock of gulls having a feast just off shore.
Apparently there is lots of capelin to be had near the surface and the gulls have been there stuffing themselves for a day or two, I was told yesterday.
It's been a beautiful day here in Akureyri, lots of sun and nice weather. The sunset last night was very beautiful too and I took a quick photo when I was driving home at 01:00... see here in Blipfolio.
