At Breaker Bay

Although the sea was smooth and tranquil at the main beach at Kaiteriteri just over the hill conditions were quite different. At Breaker Bay there was a heavy sea running with powerful waves dumping on the shore. It was a challenge to get safely into the water to swim. I was dumped by a wave. By the time I struggled to my feet another wave bowled me. I did eventually manage to get over the first breakers and enjoyed a swim. My image shows a group of folk dithering over whether or not to brave the waters.
