Hustler's Row

Hustler's Row in Meanwood, Leeds takes you straight back to the Victorian age: a row of terraced houses, snuggled together by the side of the river, oddly isolated and standing alone.

Except it wasn't always that way; built in 1850, and named after John Hustler a local quarry owner, Hustler's Row was once part of a much larger development, the remainder of which was demolished years ago leaving it standing as the sole reminder that this was once an area of great industry, primarily quarrying stone and tanning leather..

And, of course, I love the fact they've actually bothered to use an apostrophe!
