Sumburgh Head

A bleak day at the southern end of Shetland - Sumburgh Head is almost certainly the RSPB reserve I visit most often in the course of the year.

Not too much bird life around today - the fulmars are always in residence and it's good to see the guillemots back on their usual stacks.

We were promised snow today, but at the south end all we've seen so far is some sleety showers.
