Monday 21 May 2012: Alfresco Lunch
Praying mantis, Orthodera novaezealandiae
I came across this mantis eating in the sunshine. The victim might be a bumblebee, but with bits missing and parts in deep shade I can't be certain.
I had my lunch indoors, watching Michael Tilson Thomas on TED, talking about music and emotion through time. A very interesting twenty minutes.
