Crosskeys RFC v Cardiff RFC

Popped over Pandy Parks today as there wasn't a Newport game on to see Crosskeys v Cardiff. 

Flipping 'eck was it cold and the game was a bit slow to start, maybe if i wasn't a neutral things would have looked different. 

The first half was pretty much all Crosskeys but not that many points were score and many where squandered. After the break Cardiff decided to have a go, why they didn't try earlier i don't know. The pressure started to mount and the points started to come. 

Going into the final minutes it was 13 all with Crosskeys starting to turn the tables and begin to find the form they had in the first half. Cardiff gave away 3 penalties near their 22 but confidence was obviously low in the Crosskeys kicking department and they kept going for the line out. Cardiff battle hard to secure their defensive lines and kept Crosskeys out, well right until the final phase. Crosskeys finally crossed the line finishing the match 18-13 winners.
