Harvested

The walk today took us along the cliff tops of Lake Hawea.  I was standing on the cliff top to take this photo, looking down at the walking group as they passed a field which had been harvested.  It started to rain just before lunch, so we found a dry patch under some kanuka bushes, where we had our lunch.  Then the rain set in, and we all got wet heading back to the cars.  A nice hot chocolate at a local café ended a lovely day for the 20 walkers present.
