Spirit

This is my contribution to JoanneInOz's Mono Monday challenge. With this title, I immediately thought of my son who, after years of battling ME, received his BA last November at an awards ceremony in Sheffield, where this photo was taken. It took him five years of part-time study at home, during which he had to motivate himself to do what was a very tough course in the last couple of years. He persisted and this was his reward. What the future holds, we don't yet know, but I do know that he will face it all with Spirit.
